AI bubble
James Stanley said AI valuations have moved ahead of revenue prospects, but argued a bubble needs a catalyst and that one has not appeared yet; he therefore expects continued upside into late 2026 before a possible correction in 2027 or 2028. 1 Ed Zitron was much more bearish, presenting Firmus and US AI data-centre companies as financially fragile businesses built on aggressive assumptions, weak revenue and heavy future funding needs. 2 Zitron also said an AI-bubble burst would create spillovers for Nvidia, AMD and gaming, while suggesting China-related funding could eventually disappear. 3
